Your Web Design 

FAQs

1. What is Wix?

Wix** is a cloud-based platform with servers that operate with a 99.8% uptime.  If you decide to turn off your website at any point, you can do so with a click of a button. The site will still be there, even years later.  As long as you have access to the email address, you have access to your site!

 

2.  Will my website have Wix branding on it?     No!  No Wix branding or labeling.  All Wix branding is removed and your visitors will experience your unique brand that's entirely your own.

3.  Will I be able to edit my website myself?

Yes. Once the build is complete and approved, you will have full access to your site and any images used.   Everything will be transferred to your Wix account upon project approval.


4.  Will I have to pay for a secure site certificate with Wix?

Wix upgrades include free SSL -- (the "https://" ) required by Google. Depending on other web hosting plans, this can save $100+ per year on web hosting.

5.  What type of revisions are included?

Standard revision requests include:  Changing the font (fonts in the WIX library only), changing photos on the page, moving around elements within a page, adding or moving buttons. Revisions may change your completion / delivery date.  Revisions not  included:  Changing out the template, adding custom fonts, custom coding, additional features or pages.

6.  What is the turnaround time for your designs?

That depends on the detail & layers of your website, (I can turn around a website in as little as 72 hours for a 1-page or landing page website, if necessary).  However, the standard design time is 3 - 5 weeks.  There's an additional cost for rush and expedited orders.

7.  Will I own the website once it is completed?

Yes, absolutely!  The IP (Intellectual Property) is yours. I just ask the right to post screenshots and link your website to my portfolio. You have the choice to opt out but I would greatly appreciate it!

8.  Can you show how me how to maintain my website on my own after it's completed? 

Yes.  We're happy to offer you one-on-one "How - To" tutorial sessions for those looking to maintain their custom website after handoff.  Ask about our special deals.  If you would rather leave the maintenance to us, we offer multiple  plans to fit your needs.
